Dr. Priyanka Mohan is an Obstetrician, Gynaecologist & Infertility Specialist. She is an expert in Reproductive Medicine, Infertility management, Fertility enhancing surgeries (Hysterscopy & Laparoscopy) and IVF. Dr. Priyanka Mohan has graduated from Vydehi Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre, Bangalore in 2010. She completed her M.S. in Obstetrics & Gynaecology from Vydehi Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre, Bangalore in 2014. After her postgraduation, she has worked and been a teacher to undergraduates & postgraduates in one of the most prestigious hospitals in India, St. John’s Medical College, Bangalore as well as in Vydehi Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre, Bangalore and gained a vast experience in the field of high risk pregnancy & Gynaecology, as well as the art of teaching. She has also worked at Apollo Hospital, Banerghatta road, Bangalore. She has done her Fellowship & Diploma in Minimal Access Surgery from the World Laparoscopy Hospital, Gurugram and Fellowship in Reproductive Medicine from CIMAR (Edappal Hospitals), Kochi. She has also been trained in Basic Obstetric and Gynaecology Scans at Selvi School of Sonology, Chennai and Observership in the Department of Fetal Medicine at CIMAR, Kochi. Dr. Priyanka Mohan has done a study on Infertility Stress in Men and Women, and how it affects the mental health, marital relationship and sexual life of the couple and she has keen interest in the same as she believes psychological support is the key ingredient in the management of infertile couples. She has also published an article related to Pap smear and Colposcopy in the screening of cervical cancer and is a co-author for a study done on sperm selection for intracytoplasmic sperm injection using microfluidics chip technique. Dr. Priyanka Mohan is a member of Bangalore society of Obstetrics & Gynaecology (BSOG), Federation of Obstetrics & Gynaecology society of India (FOGSI) as well as Indian Medical Association (IMA). She has also attended multiple conferences and workshop which includes All India Congress of Obstetrics & Gynaecology (AICOG), Skill matrix International Conference, Ferticon and Vaginal hysterectomy workshop, and has presented papers and case reports in the same. She has a total work experience of 10years & teaching experience of 7 years. Dr. Priyanka holds true to ethical and evidence based practice in Obstetrics, Gynaecology and Reproductive Medicine. Her areas of interest includes PCOS, Endometriosis, menstrual irregularities, poor ovarian reserve, poor responders, recurrent implantation failure, unexplained infertility, male factor infertility and high risk pregnancy.
