Bijender Sindhu is the Senior Physiotherapist at Santom Hospital . He graduated in physiotherapy (BPT) from University College, Guru Jambeshwar University, Hisar, Haryana in 2006 and gained experience working in Hisar, Ambala, Kurukshetra, Jorhat and New Delhi. He completed his Post Graduate Diploma in Sports Mgmt (DSM) from Alagappa University, Tamil Nadu and then Master of Physiotherapy in Orthopedics (MPT-Orthopedics) from C.C.S.University, Meerut (U.P) followed by Doctor of Physiotherapy (Ph.D., PT in Orthopedic Rehabilitation ).
In the beginning of his career, Dr.Sindhu worked in rehabilitation units dedicated to spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injuries, amputee patients, pulmonary, a cardiac diagnosis, and neurological diagnosis including stroke, MS, and Guillain-Barré Syndrome. Dr.Bijender Sindhu enthusiasm, energy, and love of the profession led to his appointment as Head of Department, Physiotherapy at Sarvodaya Multispecialty Hospital in Hisar, one of the youngest Physiotherapists ever appointed to this position.
He has worked in all types of settings that physical therapy is performed. Working with the Orthopedic Surgeons at Jaipur Golden Hospital and various others hospitals & clinics, Evelyn ventured into private practice opening the Physiotherapy clinic under Orpac Health Care, treating mainly orthopedic and sports related injuries. His vast knowledge and experience in orthopedic injuries and in the delivery of high-quality health care made him a valuable asset to the team. Most of Dr.Sindhu’s experience is in the outpatient setting which he enjoys immensely. He has taken extensive continuing education in the spine, shoulder, knee, ankle, hip, hand, and ankle/foot. Dr.Sindhu’s believes in an ongoing education that is continuously evolving. He is experienced in the assessment and treatment of musculoskeletal and neurological conditions. He has a good platform of experience from well-known hospitals like Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, Action Balaji Hospital Hospital, Braham Shakti Hospital, Santom Hospital & Dialysis Centre, Delhi etc are few to name.
Dr.Sindhu taking classes of students from various field ie. Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Special Education from Various Medical College and Institutes. Currently, he is an Associate Professor (Visiting Faculty) in Technical Institue of Rehabilitation Sciences, Rohini, Delhi. He is certified with advanced training in office and industrial ergonomics with International Ergonomics association. He works as a freelance ergonomic consultant to various well-known organizations and companies. He also conducts seminars on postural corrections and office ergonomics. He arranges employee wellness workshops in various School, College and corporate sectors staff for orthopedic rehabilitation and postural care.
He is attended and took Various Course, Workshops, and Seminars on Manipulation, Ergonomics, and Orthopedic Rehabilitation. Mulligan method of joint mobilization for maximum gain in the range of motion after any joint injury. He is always socially active in publishing articles in local, National and International Magazine, Journals and Newspapers arranging free camps at ORPAC for social awareness. He regularly writes about health and physiotherapy. Dr. Sindhu always keeps up to date with the latest techniques through attending postdoctoral training courses.
