Dr Sweta Gupta is an Internationally trained and experienced, distinguished fertility specialist, with a specialisation in Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Fertility and IVF. At present she is working as the Clinical Director at Medicover Fertility Panchsheel Park.
Dr Sweta is a member of the prestigious Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, London (MRCOG) and DFSRH (UK). She did her MBBS from Lady Hardinge Medical College in Delhi. After completing her MD in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, she moved to England for higher education, training and work. She obtained her master’s degree (MSc) in Reproduction and Development from Bristol University, UK. She has done a clinical fellowship in Reproductive Medicine and ART, from London's Homerton University Hospital. She has also completed a training module in Assisted Conception Technology, certified from the British Fertility Society. She attended an advanced laparoscopy course from MOET Guildford and a course in ultrasound in obstetrics, gynae and doppler from Sheffield, UK. She worked for all NHS hospitals in the UK for a decade. She has an experience of working in a busy London Infertility Unit where she performed almost 1,000+ IVF cycles per year.
Professional Details: Before joining Medicover Fertility, Dr. Sweta Gupta was the Medical Director of Bourn Hall Clinic. Prior to this, she was the Director of Moolchand Fertility Center, New Delhi. She has more than 18 years of experience in Indian and UK hospitals in IUI, IVF / ICSI/ IMSI, TESA, PESA, blastocyst culture, cryopreservation, laparoscopy, hysteroscopy and successfully running donor and surrogacy programs. She runs specialized clinics like preconception, recurrent pregnancy loss, gynaecology and joint clinics along with genetic counsellors, endocrinologists and urologists. She individualizes each couple's treatment plan from the range of options available. She practices evidence-based medicine and keeps abreast with the latest medical advances.
Publications
She has published several articles in British Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology, TOG, European Journal of Obstetrics and Gynaecology & Reproductive Biology. Due to her skill and expertise, he has been invited as a guest speaker in various national and international publications and articles in magazines. She has also been involved in the RCOG North Zone, India, like the MRCOG part 2 examination and basic practical skills. She is a member of several reputed societies and associations like RCOG, the British Fertility Society, the Indian Fertility Society (Executive Member), AOGD, IMA, NOGS, and FOGSI.
