Dr. Atul Wadhwa Completed His Masters in Surgery From the University of Rajasthan in 1999, Following Which He Joined Safdarjung Hospital as a Registrar. After Completing the Requisite Training as a Registrar, He Joined the Fellowship Programme in Minimal Access Surgery Under the Able Guidance of Padmashree Dr. P.K. Chowbey at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital. During His Tenure as a Fellow, He Gained Wide Experience in Basic and Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery. He Has Also Trained Under the Esteemed Prof. Alferd Cuscheri Dundee (UK) in the Field of Upper Gi Laparoscopic Surgery. He Has Authored Various Publications in Reputed International and National Journals and Has Received Best Paper Award From Surg Laparosc Endosc & Perc Tech. He Is Also Author of Various Chapters in Books on Minimal Access Surgery.he Had to His Credit of Being a Speaker at Various National Conferences. He Is an Active Member of National and International Associations of Laparoscopic and Endoscopic Surgery. He Has Interest in Abdominal Surgery Including the Whole Spectrum From Minimally Invasive Hepato-biliary, Colo-rectal and Bariatric Surgery. He Has Performed Both Basic Cholecystectomy, CBD Stone Removal, Laparoscopic Repair of All Kind of Hernias Including Inguinal, Ventral Abdominal and Hiatus Hernias, Laparoscopic Appendicectomy, Laparoscopic Resection of Small and Large Intestine, Laparoscopic Operations on Spleen, Pancreas, Liver, Including Lap. Rectopexy Besides Obesity and Metabolic Surgery. Dr Wadhwa Is Married to Dr. Bharti Wadhwa, an Aneasthesiologist and Intensivist Who Is Presently Working as an Associate Professor at MAMC, New Delhi
