Dr Kashmira Chavan

Dr. Kashmira Chavan is working as a Full Time Consultant at Dr L H Hiranandani Hospital. She has worked at reputed institutions like P.D. Hinduja National Hospital and Seth G.S. Medical College & KEM Hospital, Mumbai in the past. Dr. Chavan has completed a ‘Fellowship in Endoscopic Sinus Surgery’ at the P.D. Hinduja Hospital in Mumbai. She is trained in ‘Cochlear Implants’ at P.D.Hinduja National Hospital, Mumbai and at NYU Langone Medical Center, New York, USA. She has also acquired training in ‘Laryngology & Voice Disorders’ at NYU Langone Medical Center,New York, USA and in Management of ‘Obstructive Sleep Apnea’ at Montefiore Medical Center, New York, USA. Dr. Chavan is experienced in managing all kinds of ear conditions such as ear infections, tinnitus, vertigo and hearing restoration. She specializes in Cochlear Implants and all other ear surgeries. She treats conditions such as rhinitis, nasal blockage, sinusitis and other diseases of the nose and sinuses and performs endoscopic sinus and skull base surgeries. Dr. Chavan also manages the Voice & Swallowing Clinic at Dr. L H Hiranandani Hospital and treats patients with a wide variety of problems including vocal nodules/cysts/polyps, laryngopharyngeal reflux, vocal cord paralysis, spasmodic dysphonia and other voice and swallowing disorders. She has received advanced training in vocal cord surgical procedures. She manages pediatric patients and treats conditions such as tonsillitis, enlarged adenoids, thyroid and other neck swellings. Dr. Chavan is actively involved in research activities and has published a number of articles in medical journals and authored several book chapters. She has won numerous awards for presentations at national conferences and gives lectures at national and international venues. She is also a faculty member at various training workshops for ENT surgeons and audiology professionals.
