Dr Ranjit Peter

Dr Ranjit Peter has more than 18 years of experience in the Otorhinolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery Specialty. He holds a Masters Degree in Surgery (ENT) as well as Diplomate of the National Board for the practice of Otorhinolaryngology awarded by the National Board of Examinations, New Delhi, India. He is a Fellow of the European Board of Otorhinolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery. He completed training in Endoscopic Endonasal Surgery of the Cranial Base and Pituitary Fossa in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, U.S.A. He is well versed with all basic and advanced surgical procedures in his speciality with a special interest in Endoscopic sinus surgery, Endoscopic anterior skull base as well as Functional endoscopic ear surgeries. He is proficient in microscopic ear surgical procedures as well as head and neck, including Thyroid, submandibular gland, parotid and laryngeal surgeries. He worked as an Assistant Professor in the ENT Department, K.S.Hegde Medical Academy, Mangalore, India and has also been an ENT examiner for MBBS students till December 2007. Dr.Ranjit Peter later served the Government of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam in the ORL Department of the tertiary care hospital, RIPAS, Ministry of Health, Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei Darussalam from 2008 to January 2017. He updates his knowledge and surgical skills by regularly attending international conferences and surgical workshops. He has many scientific publications in International Journals to his credit and has also contributed to a chapter in a textbook. He has delivered several guest lectures and academic presentations at Continuing Medical Education programmes and practices Evidence-Based Medicine. Currently, he is Consultant ENT Head & Neck Surgeon at KIMS Hospital Kochi.
