Dr Rohit R K

Dr. Rohit R K has completed his medicine from JJM Medical College, Davanagere, in the process, training under some of the pioneers in the field of medicine in Karnataka. He went on to pursue his post graduation in Orthopedic Surgery from the Institute of Orthopaedic Research and Accident Surgery, Madurai, Tamilnadu under the guidance of Prof. Annamalai Devadoss who is the most revered teacher in the field of Orthopaedic Surgery in India. During the period he had the opportunity to present research papers at various national and state level conferences. He has three research publications to my name during his residency at Madurai. He went on to work as a senior registrar under Dr. Chandrabose Rex at Rex Ortho Hospital, Coimbatore, who himself is an accomplished academician and orthopedic surgeon. He developed a keen interest in Traumatology with exposure to management of isolated as well as polytrauma, from the Emergency Room to the Operating Room. His passion during the years of study and afterward was Arthroplasty (Joint Replacement Surgery) and to fine tune his skills in the subspecialty, he did his Fellowship in Arthroplasty at Bengaluru.
