Dr. M. B. Gayathri is an Ayurvedic Physician, has served in various Ayurveda and panchakarma centers and is currently working at Ayurvedism, Marathalli, Bangalore. She holds a Master degree in Ayurveda (M.D) from Government Ayurveda Medical College (GAMC) Bangalore. She has more than 25 years of experience in Ayurveda treating patients in India, UK and USA. Her core expertise is in treating ophthalmic disorders. She also has expertise in treating chronic disorders like Osteoarthritis, Osteoporosis, Spondylosis, Skin disorders (Psoriasis, Eczema, Vitiligo, Acne, warts, Herpes), Respiratory diseases, Renal disorders, Chronic Headaches like migraine. She is also specialized in treating chronic cases of Crohn's disease, ulcers, acidity and other digestive ailments. She is an expert in treating male and female infertility problems related disorders, PCOD, PCOS and other menstrual disorders. She has treated patient with stress related health issues. She is very successful in treating alopecia, baldness and hair fall. Her researches include “A Clinical study on Naktandyatha & its management with special reference to Shleshma Vidagda Drishti through Anjana Prayoga” and “A Clinical study on Refractive Errors – Myopia & its management with ocular exercises”. She has presented herself in various conferences and has done compilations on SURYA VARTHA and KSHUDRANTRA. She has also been a frequent speaker in international conferences and published articles on “Single drug therapy in netra roga from classical ayurvedic literature” and Kannu vaidyar: a living legend. She completed BAMS from Government College of Indian Medicine Bangalore in 1994 and MD-Ayurveda from Government College of Indian Medicine Bangalore in 1997.
