Best research awardee at all India level in 1992 for the original work on Polymorphonuclear Function (Phagocytosis & Intracellular Killing) in Thermal Burns awarded by Association of Plastic Surgeons of India. Honoured as a Fellow of Mercy Hospital, Buffalo, New York. Specially trained in LASER and advanced cosmetic surgery from Singapore, New Zealand, Kuwait and Italy. Has been treating celebrities and film stars since last 16 years. Dr.Suyash Patankar is a senior board certified consultant cosmetic surgeon trained in India, Singapore, Kuwait, New York, Italy and New Zealand. He further received a specialized training in lasers and advanced cosmetic surgery in Singapore, New Zealand, Kuwait and Italy. Dr.Suyash Patankar did his M.B.B.S. & Masters in Surgery from King Edward Memorial Hospital, Bombay. He stood first in surgery. Then he passed board certification in Plastic and Cosmetic Surgery with a Gold Medal for the first rank in the University of Bombay in April 1993. Dr. Patankar then moved on to U.S.A. and was honoured as a Fellow of Mercy Hospital, Buffalo, New York. He is recognised as M.F.R.C.S. and as Diplomate of National Board. He received a 'Best Research' award at all India level in 1992 for the original work on Polymorphonuclear Function (Phagocytosis & Intracellular Killing) in Thermal Burns awarded by Association of Plastic Surgeons of India. He is invited to attend a number of national and international conferences, symposia and clinical meets as a faculty speaker and has a Number of publications and presentations in the national and international journals and conferences to his credit. He was invited to write a weekly column on latest advances in LASER and cosmetic surgery for over a year by the prestigious news paper like Times group. He has been invited as a senior cosmetic surgeon on numerous occasions for various shows on television. He has been treating a number of personalities from Indian film industry and other celebrities for over a decade.
