Orthopedics (Gold Medalist), Sports Injury & Joint Replacement Specialist Dr. Gaurav Arora completed his training from the renowned Manipal University, under the guidance of well-known Orthopedic Surgeons of Asia. Following his Post-Graduation, he worked as an Orthopedic faculty at Manipal where he developed keen interest in Sports injuries and Joint Replacement surgeries. He went onto complete a fellowship in Joint Replacement surgery (Depuy) & also gained skills & experience in Sports injuries management and Arthroscopy surgeries at the top institutes of India and Abroad. He acquired up to date knowledge and technical skills practiced worldwide for Knee and Shoulder Arthroscopies at New York University, one of the most reputed and largest Orthopedic Surgery and Sports Injury Center in the United States. He has previously worked at various well reputed centers in India including Saket City Hospital, Saket, New Delhi, Nayati Super-Specialty Health Center, Mathura and Bharati Vidyapeeth Medical College, Pune. Working at all these centers, he has gained accolades for his ethical and evidence-based practice. He has a holistic approach towards his patients; along with recommending appropriate medical or surgical management, he focuses on building the overall patient’s core musculoskeletal strength. With his passion for teaching, Dr. Gaurav Arora joined as faculty at SGT Medical College and takes great pride in imparting his knowledge and skills to the orthopedic residents. He continues to be an inspiration and a role-model by his dedication and selfless approach in his pursuit of keeping himself and residents updated clinically and surgically.
