He has always practiced evidence based and ethical surgery in children with special emphasis on counseling parents in an empathetic and caring way. His passion to work with children who require pediatric surgical care lead him to firmly establish the concept of specialized Pediatric surgical care at the district level at Hassan in Karnataka where he practiced and managed the entire Pediatric surgical work of the pediatric population of three districts and parts of two other districts.
