Dr. P C Gupta did his schooling at Mussoorie from Convent of Jesus and Mary, Hampton Court and from St. George’s College. He graduated in Medicine from the Armed Forces Medical College, Pune in 1988. He did his Post-graduation and Registraship in General Surgery at the prestigious Post Graduate Institute for Medical Education and Research at Chandigarh. He has been a House Officer in Casualty and Senior Research Associate in Surgery at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi. He did his Vascular Surgery Fellowship from Nagoya University School of Medicine, Nagoya, Japan. The Fellowship is accredited by the Japanese Surgical Society. He has trained in Carotid Surgery at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and in Aortic aneurysm surgery at Baylor College of Medicine, Houston. Dr. P C Gupta works at the Care Hospital: The Institute of Medical Sciences, Hyderabad as a Senior Consultant & Chief of Vascular & Endovascular Surgery. He completed his education from reputed colleges in Pune and Chandigarh. He has also undergone a training course in Vascular Surgery. He has proven himself to be capable in performing Carotid Surgery and has undergone rigorous training in various areas like Endovascular Therapeautics, Endovascular Interventions and Aortic and Infrainguinal Reconstructions, Complex Aortic Aneurysm Surgery and Laparoscopic Aortic Surgery. Dr Gupta considers himself blessed to have trained under reputed names. He is thus an expert at conducting Endovenous Laser Surgery for Varicose Veins. Dr. P.C Gupta has extensive experience in performing Ultrasound guided Endovascular Interventions. He attends seminars and conferences on a regular basis. He has also been to various Scientific Conferences as a guest faculty. His write ups have appeared in prominent national as well as international journals. Dr Gupta's area of expertise includes Aortic Aneurysm Surgery, Carotid Surgery, Deep Vein Thrombosis, Venous Surgery and Endovascular Therapies. He is also a member of various prominent medical associations.
