He has vast experience in handling critical care nephrology patients, renal transplantation, and patients with combined nephrological and urological problems. Along with his team of nephrologists and urologists, he has established sound infection control practices in the institution. Safety practices in hemodialysis is another highlight in the department. He runs courses for dialysis technicians and also the fellowship in renal dialysis. He is actively involved in teaching and also in the internal audits related to NABH in the institution. He has various paper presentations to his credit and a number of his papers have won awards at the zonal level. He has delivered invited lectures in the southern chapter of Indian society of nephrology and has chaired various sessions.
