Dr. Pooja Mehta is Director and Unit Head of Obstetrics and Gynaecology department at W Pratiksha Hospital, Sector 56, Gurgaon and has a vast experience of 18 years in her field. She has done Diploma in Advanced Gynaecological Endoscopy from the prestigious Kiel School of Gynaecological Endoscopy, Germany. She has an expertise in Gynaecological laparoscopic surgeries and has performed many complicated gynaecological laparoscopic and hysteroscopy surgeries (Total laparoscopic hysterectomies, Laparoscopic assisted vaginal hysterectomies, Lap ovarian cystectomies, laparoscopic fertility enhancing surgeries, Laparoscopic myomectomies and operative hysteroscopic surgeries). She is also a High risk obstetrician with immense knowledge in treating high risk pregnancy cases (Recurrent abortions, Pregnancy induced hypertension, Gestational diabetes mellitus, Previous LSCS, placenta praevia etc) She is an accomplished Infertility expert and got her training of infertility from the prestigious Sir Ganga Ram hospital, New Delhi. She possesses high success rate in curing infertile couples. In the past she held the position of Senior consultant at Paras Hospitals, sector 43, Gurgaon for 7 years (2011-18). She was also associated with Maharaja Agarsen medical college, Agroha (Haryana) and Balaji hospital Hissar (Haryana). Her educational background is MBBS from ACPM Medical College - Dulhe (Maharashtra)in 1999 and post graduation DNB in Obstetrics & Gynecology from the prestigious St. Stephen's Hospital Delhi in the year 2004.
