Dr Kusum Sahni

Dr. Kusum Sahni is a sincere doctor, dedicated to her profession with an in depth knowledge of her subject. Gentleness and compassion towards patients comes naturally to her. She became an obstetrician by choice because of her special interest in delivering patients with varied presentations. She has been in the field of obstetrics and gynaecology for the last 32 years and her passion for the field has only increased. She did her postgraduation from Medical college and hospital Rohtak. Wishing to expand her knowledge, she did her Senior residency from one of the busiest gynaecology departments at Lady Hardinge Medical College in Delhi where she got exposure to all possible types of cases and gained expertise in managing them. She has been in private practice since 1989 and is currently a Senior gynaecologist at Max Hospital Pitampura where she has been since its inception. She has been invited to be a part of Clinical Leadership Summit for two consecutive years where select doctors from all Max hospitals were invited to give feedback and suggestions regarding improving patient care and better functioning of the department. Dr. Kusum is a family person who likes to spend her free time with her husband and her grown up ‘children’. Her daughter also followed her parents and is an Assistant Professor at the prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) and her son is an Investment Banker presently in USA. Her husband is Vice Principal at Lady Hardinge Medical College and SSK Hospital, New Delhi.
