Dr. Suraj Manjunath, MBBS, MS (General Surgery), MCh (Surgical Oncology) Visiting Fellow (Sur Onc and MIS), Detroit Medical Center, Wayne State University Visiting Fellow, MD Anderson Cancer Center, University of Texas Visiting Fellow, University of Chicago Medicine. Dr. Suraj Manjunath is an eminent Cancer Surgeon and has trained in premier centers in India and abroad. He has a wide experience in all types of Cancer Surgery. His special interests include Minimally Invasive Cancer Surgery, ERAS (Enhanced Recovery After Surgery) pathways in Oncology, Organ Conserving Oncologic Surgery, and Personalized Oncology. He is the former professor and head, Department of Surgical Oncology, St John’s Medical College and Hospital and has trained several batches of Surgical Oncologists as well as General Surgeons. He set-up and established the department at St. John's, developed the DNB and MCh (Surgical Oncology) program, and has been an examiner in Surgical Oncology for four universities. He was the first Indian recipient of SSO’s (Society of Surgical Oncology, USA) International Career Development Exchange Program in 2013/14.
