Dr Jaskirat Kaur

Author, Dr. Jaskirat Kaur is BAMS (Gold Medallist), MD Ayurveda from NIA (Jaipur). Presently she is an assistant professor in Dept. of Roga Nidan Evum Vikriti Vigyan, SLN AY College, Amritsar. She has received numerous awards and felicitations including, Certificate of Merit (University Gold Medal) in BAMS from Kurukshetra University, Haryana, Jivaka Award in BAMS from Himalaya Herbal Health Care. Honored by the organization of Vishwa Ayurveda Parishad in 5 days national workshop of Ayurveda Vidyarthi Vyaktitatva Vikas Shibir at Amritsar. Her Study of interest is 1.Study of various herbal and herbomineral formulation in chronic diseases related to females. 2. Evaluate the role of rasayana in idiopathic and primary infertility. 3. PCOD- Treatment and management through ayurveda and panchakarma. 4. Menopausal symptoms, treatment and management with panchakarma therapy. 5. Study of Different LEPA (face packs, hair packs and breast packs, thigh reducing packs, tummy reducing packs) compounds in enhancing the beauty of the body. She has written various research articles in National and international magazines. She has also written a book "Food Can Be Medicine and Medicine Can Be Food" to treat various ailments from kitchen with spices. She has delivered various lectures in national and international seminars and conferences. She has delivered lectures on radio and television interview for awareness of Ayurveda to the common public.
