Fever plus running nose and body pain

With a runny nose and body aches, a viral respiratory infection such as a common cold or flu is one possibility, but symptoms alone cannot establish the cause. For now: Encourage plenty of fluids, rest, and light meals. Recheck her temperature periodically. If she is uncomfortable, paracetamol (acetaminophen) can help with fever/body aches, provided she normally can take it and has no relevant liver disease or other contraindication.
