My niece often has headache and weakness. Specially while doing physical activity and study. It has been 2 months now.

**Answer:**
Frequent headaches accompanied by weakness, particularly during physical activity and studying, for the past two months should not be ignored.
There can be several underlying causes, including:
1. Iron deficiency anaemia or low haemoglobin.
2. Vitamin B12 or Vitamin D deficiency.
3. Dehydration or inadequate nutrition.
4. Low blood pressure or blood sugar fluctuations.
5. Eye strain or uncorrected vision problems.
6. Migraine, tension-type headaches or sleep disturbances.
**My Recommendations:**
- Get a proper clinical examination by a qualified physician, particularly because the symptoms worsen during physical activity.
- Consider investigations such as CBC, ferritin, blood glucose and other tests as indicated by the examination.
- Ensure adequate hydration, nutritious meals and 7–9 hours of sleep.
- Avoid excessive screen time and prolonged studying without breaks.
- An eye examination may also be helpful.
If headaches are triggered by exertion, a medical assessment should be arranged promptly. Sudden severe headache, fainting, vomiting, visual disturbances, weakness of limbs or other neurological symptoms require urgent medical attention.
