Dr Ketan Dang ihas done MBBS, MD Internal Medicine & DNB Medical Oncology. He is ex-SR PGI Chandigarh, ex-Associate Consultant Max Hospital, Saket, New Delhi) and presently senior consultant at Fortis Hospital Mohali. He was Rank 1 holder in J&K-PMT (year 2000) & University Gold medalist (year 2005). He is the winner of numerous oncology quizzes during superspecialization and regularly participates as faculty at various oncology conferences. He is also member of American Society of Clinical Oncology, European society of Medical oncology & Association of Physicians of India. As a cancer specialist, he is well-versed with all types of latest treatments for solid tumors like lung, breast, colon,prostate, ovary,uterine, head & neck, stomach, esophagus, kidney,liver,gall bladder etc. and hematological malignancies e.g., lymphoma, leukemia, myeloma. He regularly administers all kinds of complex Immunotherapies, Targeted therapies and chemotherapies (including Intravenous, Intraarterial Intraperitoneal, Intravesical, Intrathecal, etc.) He is also focussed on management of Cancer pain, palliative & comfort care of terminally ill cancer patients. Dr Ketan Dang also undertakes Cancer screening of healthy individuals, and genetic counselling of patients and relatives. He is an active investigator in clinical trials. He is an active participant in weekly tumour boards and coordinates with radiation and surgical oncology teams, so as to meticulously plan the treatment of cancer patients.
