Dr Ankur Vats is one of the Principle dentists of Roots and Crown micro dentistry. He completed his graduation in dentistry in 2006 and worked as a House-Surgeon in Indira Gandhi Dental College, Shimla. He did his post-graduation specialisation in root canal treatment, restorative and cosmetic dentistry. He was an Associate Professor in Bhojia Dental College, Baddi (H.P.) and one of the Principle dentists in Dr Vats dental clinic, Kharar (Punjab) since 2012. He left his job in 2017 to become a full-time practitioner and in 2018 he relocated his practice and renamed it as Roots and Crown. He is a consultant root canal specialist in many reputed dental clinics in Chandigarh, Mohali and Panchkula. Dr Ankur Vats is associated as Key Opinion Leader with well renowned international brands like Coltene and Labomed. “The eyes can’t see, what the mind doesn’t know”. Dr Ankur is a firm believer of continuing education and his quest for more knowledge drives him to attend various speciality courses. He likes to keep himself updated with latest materials, techniques and technologies in dentistry. His team also believe in the same and regularly attends different courses and training to keep them updated with the latest advances in dentistry. He is trained in using Dental Operating Microscope. Dr Ankur Vats has gained experience in all the fields of dentistry through years of dental practice. He is especially passionate about microscope assisted root canal treatments, retreatment of failed root canals, management of fractured teeth, crown, bridge and veneers, aesthetic tooth coloured fillings and teeth whitening/bleaching procedures. In his spare time, Dr Ankur loves to spend time with his family. Being an advocate for a healthy lifestyle, he loves his gym time and religiously follows healthy food habits. He likes watching movies, travelling to mountains and beaches and playing with his boys.
