Dr Deepak Kumar Mishra is an Interventional Cardiologist practising in Mumbai and Thane. He has a keen interest in the areas of primary angioplasty, complex ECGs, and newer antiplatelet therapy. He did his undergraduate (MBBS) and postgraduate (MD) medical studies at Maulana Azad Medical College in New Delhi, during which time he worked at the associated Lok Nayak Hospital and GB Pant Hospital. Immediately after his MD, Dr Mishra gained admission to the Bombay Hospital Institute of Medical Sciences in Mumbai, where he completed the DM (Cardiology) programme and also cleared the DNB (Cardiology) examination of the National Board of Examinations. He worked with Bombay Hospital for about six years. Currently, Dr Deepak Mishra functions as an independent consultant.
