He has been trained in internal medicine at Karnataka Institute of Medical Sciences, Hubli, and Karnataka. He did his super specialty training in neurology at prestigious Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute of Medical Sciences & Technology (SCTIMST), Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. He also had special training in “Comprehensive Epilepsy Care” at Shri R Madhavan Nayar Center for Comprehensive Epilepsy Care, SCTIMST with adequate and extensive training in the fields of epilepsy like medical treatment, psychosocial intervention, presurgical evaluation of difficult to treat epilepsies, video-EEG, Intraoperative Electrocorticography, Sub-Dural strip/Grid Monitoring, cortical stimulation and mapping and surgery for refractory epilepsy.
