Dr. Srikant Sharma (Founder & Director - Anandam Psychiatry Centre) is a Consultant Psychiatrist & Psychotherapist based in New Delhi. He has been assessing and treating clientele from all over the world. He believes in the uniqueness of every individual and strives along with each of them to achieve a healthy state of mind. He opted for the noble branch of Medicine after scoring the perfect 100 in Biology, CBSE XII Board for which he was awarded scholarship by Government of India. He graduated from Sawai Maan Singh Medical College & Attached hospitals, Jaipur - Rajasthan where he was adjudged Best Student of the year - Mr. SMS,2005.He completed Postgraduate Training (MD - Psychiatry) from the highly esteemed- Centre of Excellence in Mental Health, PGIMER, Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital, New Delhi, he worked for 3 more years in the institute polishing his Clinical & Research skills in the specialties of General Adult Psychiatry, Child & Adolescent Psychiatry / Geriatric Psychiatry, De-Addiction, Sexual Medicine& others. He has been an active speaker in National & International Conferences presenting his work in the field of Neuropsychiatry and has won awards for the same. He actively spreads awareness about mental health issues via both electronic & print media. He actively gives talks & attends camps and workshops organised by Government sector - Ministry of Health, IGNOU, Red Cross Society to name a few. He has been giving training workshops also at Corporate Houses - Convergys. His research work has been published in various national and international journals. He is an active member of National & International Organizations related to Neuropsychiatry. He is a strong believer in the concept of Consultation Liasion Psychiatry and is an active member of ‘Innovative Physicians Forum’. He has led a team of Mental Health Experts under the Ministry of Health - 2016, India. He lead a team of Mental Health Experts for a 15 days camp in Uttarakhand in 2013 where he helped victims of the flood disaster to cope better during the traumatic experience. He won GC Boral –II Award in the National conference of Indian Association of Social Psychiatry - 2016.
