Dr Raghuram Mallaiah, MBBS, MRCP, Director Neonatology, Fortis La femme Hospital, New Delhi Founder, Amaara Human Milk Bank, New Delhi & Bangalore Graduated from Bangalore Medical college in 1994 Postgraduate training Paediatrics and superspeciality training in neonatology in the United Kingdom 1994 – 2004. MRCP(UK) paediatrics in 1999 Fellow in Neonatology at The Hammersmith Hospital , Imperial College London. Returned back to India in 2004 to set up the state of the art teritiary neonatal centre at Fortis La Femme, New delhi which is a specialised obstetric and neonatal hospital, the first of its kind in India.. Presented papers at the Neonatal society of England, Royal college of Obstetrics and Gynaecology-London, RCOG annual meet – Delhi, AICOG – Delhi and other prestigious societies both national and international. Started Breast Milk Foundation which is a not for profit organisation, which specialises in Human Milk banking, started the first Milk Bank in Delhi and Bangalore.
