Dr Lokesh Gupta

Dr. Lokesh Gupta (Medical Director) did his M.B.B.S. From Maulana Azad Medical College.D.M.R.D. (Gold Medalist) from Lady Harding Medical College Delhi and M.S. (Gen Surgery), From Safdarjung Hospital, Delhi in 1986. He worked at Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Hospital, Hari Nagar foe 7 years in the deptt. of Surgery doing all major, minor and emergency Surgeries independently. He was actively invoved in training and teaching of resident doctors. e is doing all Routine & Emergency Surgical and laparoscopic procedure since 1993 at Lok Clinic. He is also honorary consultant with Mata Chanan Devi Hospital, Janakpuri. Working with Indian Medical Association's state unit and janakpuri branch in various executive capacities (past secretary/president/secretary finance) for academic updating, community projects, entertainment and social gatherings of medical fraternity and liasoning with the legislative authorities for smooth functioning of clinic/nursing homes of the city. He is actively involved in updating knowledge of fellow members of medical fraternity in this fast changing medical field by holding updates, group discussions and seminars, at IMA platform. As life member and treasurer of World Lung Foundation, South East Asia he is working towards improving the living standards of general masses by early diagnosis, and treatment of Lung Diseases. He is spreading awareness of Lung Health in the society by conducting public meetings, marches, and programmes for children in schools, and at any other possible platform, specialty on tuberculosis, risks and consequences of tobacco consumption/smoking, safe sex and alcohol abuse. He Attended the 37th and 39th World Conference of Lung Health in paris,France in 2006 and 2008, 2011 organized by the international Union against Tuberculosis and Lung Disease(The Union)and in Cancun(Mexico) in 2010.
