Dr Amitabh Gupta

Dr. Amitabh has a vast experience of 17 years in dealing with patients of various brain and spine disorders. He did his neurosurgical training from a reputed institute – Sree Chitra Tirunal of Medical Sciences and Technology. He has also been trained at the prestigious National Institute of Mental Health and Sciences, Bengaluru. He has experience of various surgeries like complex brain tumors, clipping of aneurysm, AVMs, Epilepsy and Deep brain stimulation, spine surgeries, Endoscopic and minimally invasive surgeries. Practicing in Delhi since past 14 years, he had previously worked in MAX hospital, BL Kapoor hospital, Indian Spinal Injuries Center, and was heading Fortis hospital Shalimar Bagh before leaving for United States in 2017 to pursue advanced training and clinical fellowship in neuro-oncology / stereotactic radiosurgery and functional neurosurgery from University of Virginia and AGH, Pittsburgh respectively. He is also trained in Endo-skull base surgery from Ohio State Medical Center and had been NTRI fellow at the prestigious The Alfred hospital, Melbourne, Australia. He has publications in highly acclaimed international journals and numerous presentations in various national and international scientific meetings. He has always updated his skills and knowledge about the latest technology and advances in neurosurgery by attending hands-on workshops and conferences, both in India and abroad. His vision is to provide maximum benefit to the patients with minimum pain and morbidity.
