Dr.Prem anand, Business head and Senior Consultant Pain Physician of Amrutanjan's Advanced pain management center , is a leading Interventional Pain management Specialist who is the only doctor dually specialized in Anaesthesiology & Rehabilitation medicine in India, which are the core specialties for pain management. He is a medical student of Sri Ramachandra medical college & Research Institute and had his specialisations from Annamalai university. Later he was trained in interventional pain management by Dr.Gautham Das & Dr.G.P.Dureja, the stalwarts in pain management. He introduced many interventional procedures for the first time in India. His main area of interest is making people as well as doctors aware of the newly bloomed pain management specialty. He has managed more than 10000 cases of chronic and acute pain in his 7 years of experience in pain management. He has done research work on effect of epidural injection in patients with lumbar disc herniation with radiculopathy.
