Dr Raghavendra Kembhavi

Dr Raghavendra Kembhavi, finished his MS Ortho in 2011 from JIPMER (Institute of National importance) ,one of the premier Institute in India, in2011. After finishing his MS Ortho , he did three years of my senior residency there and later started working as Assistant Professor in private medical college in Department of Orthopedics before relocating to Bijapur, Karnataka. He is fellowship trained Orthopedic surgeon in abroad as well in India with superspecialization in sports injuries, arthroscopy and arthroplasty of Shoulder, hip and knee with particular interest in shoulder. Neglected trauma is his priority too. He did his fellowship training in shoulder arthroscopy and arthroplasty from Dr Giovanni Di Giacomo, one of the best shoulder surgeon in Europe, who is known for treating multiple tennis stars like Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic. He continued his shoulder training later in Neuss, Germany from Prof. Jorg Jerosch , one of the seniormost and most experienced surgeon in Germany in shoulder surgeries. He is also recepient of prestigious SICOT organization fellowship in hip and knee arthroplasty at Bruderkrakenhaus St. Josef, Padeborn, Germany where he underwent training in primary and revision arthroplasty surgeries of hip and knee including all appraoches to hip at one of the best replacement centre in Germany. He also has finished fellowship in Sports Medicine and knee arthroscopy with Dr JVS Vidyasagar, who is one of the renowed arthroscopist in India. He had also been to Woodend Hospital, Aberdeen, Scotland in 2016 as honorary fellow for shoulder Arthroscopy and Arthroplasty. His also recently completed fellowship in shoulder Arthroscopy and Arthroplasty at Cattolica, Italy from one of the best shoulder tertiary centre in Italy with heavy patient loads with shoulder problems. He has several publications and presentations at International journals and International conferences.
