Dr. Santhosh N U is the Consultant Neurosurgeon and Endovascular Neurosurgeon at Aster CMI Hospital. Dr. Santhosh N U after completing his MCH in Neurosurgery as a University topper from KEM Hospital Mumbai, worked in the same institution as an Assistant Professor along with Prof. Atul Goel. Later he worked as a Consultant Neurosurgeon in BGS Global Hospital, Bangalore. He has done various complex brain and spine surgeries. He has a special interest in Endovascular Neurosurgery. He has done his fellowship in Endovascular Neurosurgery from Zurich, Switzerland under Prof Valavanis. He has done various Aneurysm coiling, AVM embolization, Tumour embolization, Carotico cavernous fistula and Pial AV fistula embolization, Carotid Stenting and effectively managed spinal vascular malformations. He is one of the few neurosurgeons in India, with vast experience in Endovascular Neurosurgery. Dr. Santosh has many publications including - Pial A-V Fistula presenting as lobar hemorrhage, Micro Vascular Doppler sonography- Neurosurgical applications, Fat Graft migration causing Recurrent Cervical Cord Compression and much more. Dr. Santosh participated in various programs and have attended a number of national and international conferences. He was also active in presentations such as- Neurovascon, Bombay Neurosurgery association, Bangalore neurological society, IMA etc.
