As a Consultant, Dr. Nagaraj B. Puttaswamy has over fifteen years experience of managing patients of multiple surgical disorders both general and Laparoscopic. Thyroid Surgeries have always kept him interested. He has performed more than 5000 Laparoscopic Surgeries. Has a special inclination towards Lap Nissen’s fundoplication and Colorectal procedures. Lap Hernia surgeries have been often, and has performed almost all types Hernia Surgeries Laparoscopically for the past seven years. Hepatobiliary disorders are common in the form of Gall Bladder surgeries, Hydatid disease of Liver have been performed at a relatively easy technical approach. Being in association with my wife Dr.Punyavathi who is a Laparoscopic Gynaecologist I have been involved over 4000 different types Pelvic Lap Surgeries. Together we have conducted Live Laparoscopic Workshop on both Gynaec and General Surgeries. We have been together and are working on developments of new techniques and Lap surgeries to be performed in a more simplified style. Laparosocpic Surgeries done under Spinal Anesthesia is a big challenge and we have been successfully and safely performing this on all surgeries for the past three and half years and have crossed 1500 cases till date. FREE health related programme are conducted on regular basis. FREE surgeries for poor patients are performed.
