Mr. Ravi, what you are going through is deeply distressing, and it’s important to understand that ARFID with severe PTSD is not a matter of willpower — it is a condition where the mind and nervous system are in constant survival mode, which directly affects appetite, digestion, and tolerance to food. Trauma keeps the body in a state of internal alert, so even the act of eating can trigger anxiety, nausea, choking sensation, or aversion. When this continues for years, physical strength, immunity, and emotional resilience naturally decline. From a homeopathic perspective, we look at this as a disturbance of the mind–body axis where past emotional shock, fear memories, isolation, and suppressed distress affect both the nervous system and digestive function. Homeopathy does not treat only the eating difficulty, but the underlying trauma imprint, anxiety pattern, sensitivity, sleep disturbance, and food aversions together. Many patients with stress-induced eating disorders show gradual improvement in appetite, calmness, and food tolerance when the constitutional remedy addresses the PTSD layer along with the physical weakness. Treatment is individualized after understanding your fears, triggers, dreams, thermal sensitivity, and emotional history in detail. However, because you mention your health is declining, it is very important to continue medical supervision for nutrition and physical stability while starting deeper treatment. Homeopathy can work alongside psychological therapy and nutritional care, especially in long-standing psychosomatic conditions where conventional treatment alone has not brought relief. With the right guidance, the nervous system can come out of survival mode, and the body can regain its natural desire for food. This condition is treatable, and you do not have to face it alone. A detailed consultation can help understand your case at a deeper level and plan a step-by-step recovery approach for both the emotional trauma and the eating difficulty.
