Dr. Nitish Bhan, is a certified orthopaedic surgeon with advanced training in the comprehensive treatment of hip and knee arthritis, including joint preservation techniques, minimally invasive partial and total joint replacement, anterior hip replacement and complex revision total joint replacement. Dr Bhan attained his undergraduate degree from Mahadevappa Rampure Medical. A native of uptown Srinagar, Dr Bhan travelled from far north of India to far south to pursue his orthopaedic surgery training at Kamineni Institute Of Medical Sciences. He has participated in numerous workshops and received extensive training in primary and revision total joint replacement techniques. Dr Bhan in pursuit of excellence took cadaveric workshop training for the primary and revision joint replacements. Exclusive to Dr Bhan is his ability to perform minimally invasive anterior hip replacement which is the latest development in joint replacement and need not mention that he is the only one and the first in the twin state of Telangana and Andhra to pioneer and perform direct anterior approach hip replacements.
