Dr Nameeta Mokashi-Bhalerao

Dr. Nameeta Mokashi Bhalerao has done both her MBBS and M.S. Obstetrics Gynaecology from the prestigious B.J. Medical College, Pune. During this specialization, she stood 1st in B.J Medical College and 5th in the University. As a top rank holder, she has won several awards for excellence in academics. Willing to deliver more, she qualified for the highly competitive Fellowship of National Board (FNB) in Reproductive Medicine (Infertility) - a merit only 8 other candidates all over India in a year can hold. She pursued this highly reputed super-specialization at Dr Kamini Rao’s Infertility Centre at Bangalore for 2 years. During this enriching opportunity, she gained an in-depth experience of successfully treating a large number of infertile couples. She is also equipped with the skills of performing diagnostic and operative hystero-laparoscopy – a test used to evaluate the cause of infertility in women. She has won the 2nd prize at the poster presentation competition at LIFE Conference, 2013, at Bangalore. She has been actively involved in presenting seminars, review of original medical journal articles and training juniors in the field of Reproductive Medicine. It doesn’t end there. She is also a medico-legal expert from India’s top ranking NLSIU (National Law School of India University), Bangalore.
