Dr Kumar Vivek is an Opthalmology Consultant & Director at Sarvdrishti Eye Hospital, Patna. He graduated from the prestigious Nil RatanSircar Medical College, Kolkata and went to pursue his MD from R.P. Centre, AIIMS (New Delhi). He has undergone advanced training in Vitreo-Retina for 3 years during his senior residency at R.P. Centre, AIIMS, New Delhi. His distinguished recognitions include several national & international fellowships like FICO & FRCS with several publications in peer reviewed journals to his name. Dr. Kumar has carved a niche for himself in his fraternity. Dr. Kumar’s main area of interest is Vitreo Retinal disorders. He has developed strong expertise in minimally invasive sutureless23G, 25G & 27G Vitreo-Retinal surgery, so that patient can make a swift comeback to active life. His another area of interest and expertise are ROP(Retinopathy of Prematurity). Dr Kumar has vast experience in screening and laser of pre term babies with ROP. Dr. Kumar is also a renowned specialist for management of Diabetic and Hypertensive Retinopathy.
