Dr. Amol Kadu is a trained joint replacement specialist in Nagpur. He has experience of personally performing more than 200 joint replacement surgeries in his practice in central India. He has done his graduation from prestigious Government Medical College, Nagpur and then did his Masters in Orthopaedics (M.S.) from IGGMC, Nagpur. He has worked as assistant professor in department of orthopaedics in IGGMC, Nagpur. He has served as consultant in department of neuro-spine surgery at SSH and GMC, Nagpur. He has done a fellowship in joint reconstruction and joint replacement surgery at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Paderborn, Germany. At, Germany, he trained in primary and revision joint replacement surgeries under Dr. N.Lindner and Dr. D. Baumann. He has also done a fellowship in hip replacement surgery at Kantonnospital, Lliestal, Switzerland under Dr. T. Illchmann and Dr. Martin Claus, where, he received specialized training in minimally invasive hip replacement surgery. He is one of the few surgeons who are trained in performing partial knee replacement surgeries and have done more than 50 partial knees successfully. He is affiliated to various organizations like, Indian Society of Hip and Knee surgeons (ISHKS), Indian Orthopaedic Association (IOA), Association of Spine Surgeons of India (Assi), etc. He has continuously upgraded himself by participating in various national and international courses. He has served on various posts in the Vidarbha Orthopedic Society and is very active member of the organization. He has served as secretary of the VOS in academic year 2015-16 and is instrumental in starting a "Nagpur Arthroplasty Course" for surgeons in the reagion.
