Dr. Nirali Shah a Homoeopath, Psychologist and Health Counsellor, Internationally Certified Baby Bonding Practitioner, Certified Parent-Child Attachment Play Practitioner and Certified Lactation Educator. She graduated in 2005 with a degree in B.H.M.S. and have been treating patients for over 12 years since then. She has enjoyed helping hundreds of mothers and babies over the past 10 years. Her experience with the maternal and infant population triggered her interest in lactation counseling, not to forget her personal breastfeeding experience with her son which led her to pursue and study about Lactation Counseling and She earned her Certified Lactation Educator (CLE) from Childbirth and Postpartum Professional Association (CAPPA). She has trained over 450 couples on their journey to parenthood, and am affiliated with numerous maternity homes in Mumbai. At Fit for Birth, she conducts breastfeeding and newly born baby care classes where She coach expectant couples on the importance of breastfeeding, as well as pre / post-natal challenges. She counsels mothers to deal with their fear of breastfeeding a newborn, and help them become confident for a great start to breastfeeding. She stays up-to-date with the latest research on lactation, infant nutrition, and infant development so that can provide parents and professionals with the most current information available. Once your baby has arrived, she can help you with an in-house consultation. The first few days can be difficult – it is important to get off to the best start possible!
