Dr Souvik Sardar

Dr. Souvik Sardar passed his M.B.B.S. from the prestigious Medical College Kolkata, the oldest medical college in Asia. Though he worked as a house-surgeon in Cardio-thoracic and vascular surgery, he had a keen interest in Dermatology. He got his M.D. degree in Dermatology, Venereology and Leprosy from the School of Tropical Medicine which has one of the highest footfalls among the skin OPDs in the Eastern India with varieties of cases and ample exposure to different dermatological procedures. He joined as a senior resident and later promoted to Assistant Professor within a short span due to his abilities at the IQ City Medical College & Narayan Multispeciality Hospital. His thirst for knowledge made him to persue IADVL Fellowship training in Dermatosurgery under the guidance of renowned Dr. Subrata Malakar followed by an overseas Fellowship in 'Cutaneous & Laser Surgery' and got trained in all types of Lasers , Botulinum Toxin injection, Fillers , facelift, browlift under the guidance of foreign dermatologists among whom Dr Jinda is worth mentioning. He has been selected as an attending Fellow from India for the EADV (European Academy of Dermatologist & Venereologist) meet at Brussels,2017. He has published papers in national and international journals and has been an author in trichoscopy book of national level. He is currently practising in kolkata as a Consultant Dermatologist, Trichologist, Dermatosurgeon, Laser Dermatologist and Cosmetologist. He regularly performs Botulinum injections, fillers, threadlift and laser Tattoo removal other than treating all types of skin , hair and nail related problems at his clinic with satisfactory outcomes. His down to earth personality and empathy for the patients combined with clinical and surgical and aesthetic skills in this field has earned him quite a reputation at this young age.
