Dr. Ram has worked as a Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon in UK specializing in primary hips and knees replacements, revision surgery of failed hip and knee replacements, ligaments reconstruction surgery of knees, complex fractures fixation surgery in upper and lower limbs. Dr. Ram completed Masters in Orthopaedic surgery from PGIMER, Chandigarh, India, considered one of the best National Institutes for post graduation studies. Dr. Ram subsequently successfully completed a mandatory six-year structured higher surgical training program in Trauma & Orthopaedics in UK leading to FRCS (Orth) degree. Dr. Ram has been awarded Certificate of completion of surgical training (CCT), enlisted in the Specialist Register as a fully qualified Orthopaedic Surgeon with license to practice as an independent Consultant by General Medical Council (GMC), UK. Dr. Ram has successfully completed a Masters course in Orthopaedic Engineering from Cardiff University, UK. Dr. Ram completed a two-year advanced fellowship program hip and knee joint replacements & knee sports medicine under the guidance of Prof. Paul Smith, Canberra University Hospital Australia, Mr. T Gibbon York Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, UK, Mr. S Godsiff University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust, UK.
