Dr Vel Prashanth Venkatesan

Dr. Vel Prashanth is an alumnus of the Central Institute of Psychiatry, Ranchi - one of the oldest and premier psychiatric hospitals in the country. He believes in a holistic evidence-based treatment process with the ultimate goal of optimal role-functioning. He has received extensive training in handling psychiatric emergencies, substance-use disorders, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, psychotic spectrum disorders, childhood developmental disorders, and epilepsy. He integrates principles of CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) and family-focused therapies into his practice with a focus on tailor-made treatment protocols for each client.
