Dr Vivek Nair

Dr. Vivek Nair is a Gold Medalist from Maulana Azad Medical College, one of India's premier medical institutions. Trained in India and abroad Dr. Nair practices in Gurgaon (NCR), India. He has an avid interest in all aspects of dermatology with particular expertise in Laser & Cosmetic Dermatology, and Hair Transplantation. Dr. Nair has been a high achiever since his school days and was an All India Topper (rank 1) in the AFMC (Armed Forces Medical College) medical entrance examination in 1997. At the age of 17 he was featured on the cover of junior science digest, a popular science magazine, for his outstanding higher secondary and pre-medical test results After completing his MBBS from Maulana Azad Medical College, Dr. Nair spent 6 years at the Dermatology Deptt. of Lok Nayak Hospital. He excelled during his time there, topping the MD Dermatology exam (Delhi Univ) in 2007, for which he was awarded the Dr V.N. Sehgal gold medal for excellence in dermatology, venereology & leprology. That same year his work on the surgical treatment of post-acne scarring won him the 'Best Young Dermatologist Of The Year' award at the annual conference of the Indian Association of Dermatologists, Venereologists & Leprologists, Delhi chapter. Dr. Nair has four international fellowships to his credit and regularly participates in national/international conferences and workshops to keep his skills and knowledge updated.
