Dr Anjali Kumar MBBS, MD (Obstetrics & Gynaecology), FICMCH, FMAS, Certificate Course and Training in Endoscopy from World Association of Laparoscopic Surgeons and Ethicon Endo-surgery Institute 29+ years of post-graduate experience Dr Anjali Kumar is a renowned and amongst the most experienced obstetricians, gynaecologists and laparoscopic surgeons in Delhi NCR. She has the unique distinction of having a technique named after her called the ‘Kumar’s Technique’ – ‘Reverse Uterine Closure Technique’-used for suturing of very thin lower uterine segment in previous LSCS patients. This technique was presented, published, and accepted at the apex national and international conference - AICOG 2015 and FIGO -Vancouver 2015. She is an advanced gynaecologic endoscopic surgeon and has successfully operated many cases till now from Delhi, NCR and even abroad. Dr Kumar also initiated the concept of “Natural Childbirth Oriented Pregnancy Care” in and around NCR and was the first one to start patient educational programs and labor preparation antenatal classes for expectant couples in Gurgaon. She has developed patient strategies and labor protocols to increase normal delivery rates and decrease caesarean/ instrumental deliveries and routinely encourages and focuses on of VBACs (vaginal births after caesarean) cases. She is seen on various television talk shows, features in various columns on gynaecology related issues in leading newspapers, magazines, and web portals and has also authored a book on pregnancy, ‘I am Blessed’ for expectant couples. She is the founder of a YouTube Channel called ‘MAITRI’ focusing on woman’s holistic health and gynaecology issues. She has been a post graduate teacher and has been involved in many research projects in gynaecology and Obstetrics.
