Dr. Pankaj Dawar is a Neurosurgeon, Spine Surgeon, and Neuro-Oncologist trained from the apex institutes of India, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi & All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, and has experience of 12+ years in these fields. He is the founder of Infinity Neuro- Sciences India (INSI), which is a startup company with the motto of improving the services of Spine Surgery and Neurosurgery in remote areas of India. For this, after practicing in Delhi NCR for > 12 Years, Dr. Pankaj Dawar shifted his practices to the Uttarkhand region. During these 12+ years, he has done multiple courses in spine surgery, endoscopic spine and brain surgery, spine deformity surgery, endoscopic skull base surgery, India and abroad to refine his surgical finesse. He is currently practicing in KVR Hospital, Kashipur where he has developed the full-fledged Neurosurgery Department fully equipped with the latest and advanced Neurosurgery equipment’s viz high-end Neurosurgery Operating Microscope and Medtronic Neuro-Drill which greatly enhances the surgical safety, precision and spectrum of Spine and Neurosurgery operative cases. He has also developed a dedicated Neuro ICU in KVR Hospital to take care of all kinds of neurological neurosurgical cases and emergencies. He also manages to expand his services to Rudrapur & Rudrapur, he is practicing in Cheema Hospital, Kiccha Road, Bigwara which is a dedicated Spine Surgery and Orthopaedics Centre. He is also practicing @ Agarwal Nursing Home, Nawabi Road in Haldwani. Dr. Pankaj Dawar completed his MBBS from Institute of Medical Sciences, Banaras Hindu University (IMS-BHU) in 2003, MS - General Surgery from Institute of Medical Sciences, Banaras Hindu University (IMS-BHU) in 2007, and M.Ch - Neuro Surgery from All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi in 2011. He has been performing instrumented/Non-instrumentation spine surgeries including minimally invasive techniques. He has vast surgical experience and expertise in operating all kinds of supratentorial and infratentorial brain tumors like gliomas, meningiomas, medulloblastomas, and acoustic schwannomas, pituitary tumors, skull base tumors, and spinal tumors. He also has special training in treating all types of spinal trauma and spinal instrumentation in cervical, dorsal and lumbar spine, minimally invasive spine surgery, and percutaneous spinal instrumentation. He also has a keen interest and expertise in performing peripheral nerve surgery including brachial plexus injury repair and endoscopic carpal tunnel release procedures.
