During these 12+ years, he has done multiple courses in spine surgery, endoscopic spine and brain surgery, spine deformity surgery, endoscopic skull base surgery, etc. in India and abroad to refine his surgical finesse. He is currently practicing in KVR Hospital, Kashipur where he has developed the full-fledged Neurosurgery Department fully equipped with the latest and advanced Neurosurgery equipment’s viz high-end Neurosurgery Operating Microscope and Medtronic Neuro-Drill which greatly enhances the surgical safety, precision and spectrum of Spine and Neurosurgery operative cases. He has also developed a dedicated Neuro ICU in KVR Hospital to take care of all kinds of neurological neurosurgical cases and emergencies. Dr. Pankaj Dawar completed his MBBS from Institute of Medical Sciences, Banaras Hindu University (IMS-BHU) in 2003, MS - General Surgery from Institute of Medical Sciences, Banaras Hindu University (IMS-BHU) in 2007, and M.Ch - Neuro Surgery from All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi in 2011. He also has special training in treating all types of spinal trauma and spinal instrumentation in cervical, dorsal and lumbar spine, minimally invasive spine surgery, and percutaneous spinal instrumentation. He also has a keen interest and expertise in performing peripheral nerve surgery including brachial plexus injury repair and endoscopic carpal tunnel release procedures.
