Previously he was working as the Chief Neurologist at Vidyasagar Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences, (VIMHANS) New Delhi.In 1988, his arduous journey towards honor and excellence was pushed further when he decided to venture into private practice. In the initial years, he was attached to various hospitals situated in East, Central and South Delhi.In 1997 when a dedicated Center for Neuro Sciences (VIMHANS) was inaugurated, he attached himself to this institute on its inception.
