Dr Tyag Murti Sharma

Dr. Sharma is a Director at I-Create Centre for Eye, Cosmetic, Skin &Lasers Janakpuri, New Delhi, prior to which he was Director and Senior Consultant Sharp Sight Center and Medfort Hospitals and Clinical Director Maxivision Eye Hospital, located at Janakpuri. He also ran a state of the art cataract and refractive center at Janakpuri in West Delhi, The First Sight Centre which was equipped with the latest refractive and cataract machines. Dr. Sharma passed out from AIIMS from the prestigious Dr. Rajendra Prasad Centre for Ophthalmic sciences in 1991. He did his Senior residency as well from A.I.I.M.S. He has been a pioneer in Femto cataract and refractive surgery in India starting his refractive surgery career from the Banarsi Das Chandiwala Eye Institute in 1996, one of the first installations of excimer laser in the country. Dr. Sharma has been routinely performing phacoemulsification with multifocal lenses, astigmatic correcting phacoemulsification etc. and keenly follows all the advances in the technology of the phaco machines and various lens designs. Dr. Sharma has been a senior consultant at the Mata Chanan Devi Hospital and at the Centre for Sight at Safdarjung Enclave. He was also the Director and senior consultant for five years at the Centre for Sight ( East) a Center of excellence in Refractive and Cataract Surgery. He has been an instructor, speaker, discussant, chairman etc. at various DOS meetings and also at the IIRSI meetings. It is the endeavor of Dr. Sharma to bring cutting edge technology to the residents of West Delhi in the field of Refractive and Cataract Surgery.
