Dr Anil Biltoria

Dr. Anil Biltoria is a renowned Sr. Eye surgeon in Delhi. He is a specialist Sr. Eye surgeon in anterior segment (cataract, cornea etc) & removal of glasses. He passed his MBBS & M.D. (ophthalmology) from AIIMS, New Delhi (All India Institute Of Medical Sciences), the premier institute of India. During his residency, he completed his thesis on phacoemulsification (latest technique of cataract surgery). He learned his ophthalmology & surgical skills from stalwarts like prof V.K. Dada, prof R.B. Vajpayee, prof. J.S. Titiyal & prof. Atul Kumar, who have performed surgeries on several prime ministers & presidents of India like Dr. Manmohan Singh, P.V. Narsimha Rao, Devi Gowda, Pratibha Patil etc, to name a few. He joined Indraprastha Apollo Hospital after AIIMS, New Delhi in 2001, and worked there till 2005, in the capacity of associate consultant. Currently he is the senior consultant (ophthalmology) in Max Healthcare Hospital and director & Sr. Eye surgeon at Pragati Eye Centre, Delhi. Till date, he has performed above 50 thousand of successful cataract surgeries in his name. In this era of rush, his ability of listening to his patients (medical history/grievance) patiently, makes him different from other doctors. He answers all the queries of his patients politely & in a manner, which can be understood by a layman not using very technical language.
