Dr D. Ragavendran

Dr Ragavedran completed his Bachelor’s in Ayurveda from SJSAC, Chennai and MD in General Medicine from RGUHS, Bangalore. He has also obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Yoga from Annamalai University, Chidambaram. Before taking charge as the Chief Medical Officer at Sg Ayurveda, he was in leadership positions at the Arya Vaidya Chikitsalayam & Research Institute (AVCRI), Coimbatore while also serving as Assistant Professor at Ayurveda College, Coimbatore. Specialisation: Rheumatology, Neurology, Gastroenterology, Dermatology and Pulmonology are a few of the areas where he has worked extensively. Research: He was the blinded joint count accessor for a randomized double blind clinical trial on Rheumatoid arthritis funded by NIH America. He was part of the research on Ayurvedic management of Type II Diabetes conducted in AVCRI in association with Latvia University, Latvia. He was part of the supportive care for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy by Ayurveda treatments conducted in AVCRI in association with MDCRC, Coimbatore. International Imprint: He has delivered Guest Lectures in Latvia University, Riga, Latvia, EU and has conducted introductory Ayurveda classes to students from countries such as Brazil, Argentina, Chili, Switzerland and Latvia. He was also the Clinical Coordinator for SAMA Ayurveda Course, Switzerland.
