Dr. Gautam Mehta is a competent and experienced Anesthesiologist and practising as a consultant at Apollo hospitals (MRC nagar and Alwarpet), Indigo Women's Center and freelancing at multiple other centres. He completed his M. B. B. S and M. D in Anesthesiology from Sri Ramachandra University, Porur, Chennai. He has performed 4000+anesthetic procedures during his training period across all surgical specialties. After finishing his MD in Anesthesiology he has over 5years of experience and over 9 years of overall clinical experience. He has special interest in critical care management and pain management, regional anesthesia, ultrasound guided nerve blocks, labor analgesia, pain and palliative care. He has attended and presented several papers in National and International conferences and also has 2.5 years of international work experience as a Consultant Anesthesiologist in Brunei. Pain management comes under the domain of anaesthesiology. Dr. Gautam also specialises in evaluation and treatment of a wide range of pain problems such as long - lasting, chronic, low back pain, knee pain, neck pain etc. He offers a combination of medication - based treatments and surgical procedures, that can stop the pain at it's source and you can go back home the same day!
