Dr. ABHILASH K is a Consultant General, GI & laparoscopic surgeon, with over 10 years of experience in open and laparoscopic surgeries, practicing at Chettinad Super Specialty Hospital, Kelambakkam, since 2016. He was previously working in Sri Ramachandra Hospital, Porur. He is also consulting at his clinic in Navalur, and a visiting consultant at various hospitals in OMR. He has completed his MBBS from Sri Ramachandra Medical College in 2006 and MS from Mahatma Gandhi Medical College in 2011. He has been trained in Laparoscopic surgeries and he has Fellowship in Minimal Access surgery FMAS from the prestigious AMASI group. He is also a member of the Association of surgeons of India. He is also Fellow of Indian association of gastrointestinal endosurgeons, and holds Fellowship in advanced Laparoscopic surgery, FALS in Upper GI. His areas of expertise include Laparoscopic Gall bladder surgeries, Appendicectomy, Hernia repair TEP, TAPP & IPOM, Fundoplication.
