Q Fever, stomach pain

AHi! Well I just came across your question but it seems you have put it almost 15 days ago. Hope you got timely treatment and the child is better now. For fever in a four year old child keep at home Syrup Calpol 240mg/5ml syrup. Give in the dose of 3.5 ml for fever. For stomach pain keep ready syrup cyclopam and 5ml can be given to relieve pain. Q What food to start for babies for the first time

ADon't start with food after 5 months. I think your baby must have completed 6 months by now as I saw the post late. After six months, start with semisolid food. Homemade is the best and should be consumed within three hours of preparation. You can give food three times a day and continue breast feeding along with it. Can give khichri in one meal, then soft fruits in the afternoon, give whole fruit instead of juices; in the evening can give suji or dalia cooked in milk. This way the baby would get balanced nutrition. Can add soft cooked vegetables like tomato, lauki torai in khichri too
